Description
A Półgrosz coin from, possibly minted in Krakow, issued under the reign of Ladislaus II Jagiellon. Its obverse showcases a crown within a beaded inner circle, often accompanied by the mintmaster's initials, and features the distinct lettering ✠ MONE * WLADIS(rotated S)LAI. The reverse captivates with a crowned eagle emblem, with its head turned right, set within a beaded inner circle. Although the lettering on the reverse is clipped, it adds a touch of mystery to this treasured coin from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth era.
