Description
This Manghir coin originates from the renowned Ayasuluk Mint, modern-day Selçuk, Turkey. The obverse is adorned with intricate ornamental details accompanied by a star. On the reverse, the coin is inscribed with the numerals "852=>856 Ayasuluk", marking its period of minting. Mehmed II, known as "Mehmed the Conqueror", had an expansive coinage system with Manghirs. This manghir is very preserved. This coin was minted in 852-856AH, which converted to Gregorian is 1448-1452
