Description
A preserved piece from 1766, this 6 Kreuzer coin pays homage to Maximillian III Joseph. The obverse elegantly presents a draped bust facing right, adorned with the lettering "MAX. IOS. - H. I. B. C. &.". The reverse side intricately showcases a crowned oval shield merging the 4-fold arms of Bavaria and Pfalz, centered by a shield of the imperial orb. Surrounded by the order of Saint-Hubert, the shield is flanked by a "6-K", with the year "1766" split below. The coin is beautifully inscribed with "LAND - MUNZ (MINZ) 6 - K 1766", reflecting its rich Bavarian heritage.
