Description
This 50 Pfennig coin from 1919, issued by the city of Trier. The obverse displays the inscription "STADT TRIER 1919 50 ✶ PFENNIG ✶", neatly encircling the denomination at the center. On the reverse, it features the iconic ruins of the Roman Imperial Palace, known as the Kaiserthermen, part of Trier's rich ancient roman history. Limited mintage of only 300,000 pieces.
