Description
This 15 Kreuzer coin was minted in Prague in 1732 during the reign of Karl VI. The obverse showcases a detailed portrait of the monarch facing right, circumscribed by the inscription "CAR VI D G R I / S A G HI H BOH REX". Transitioning to the reverse, a crowned double-headed imperial eagle dominates, bearing the Bohemian lion proudly on its breast. Beneath, the value is stated in roman digits, surrounded by the legend "ARCHID AUST DUX (XV) BUR COM TYROL 1732". Unique to this piece is the mintmark FS, representing the initials of the accomplished mintmaster Ferdinand Scharff.
