The obverse prominently displays a bust of Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 37, adorned with a tiara and facing right, accompanied by the inscription "ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA". The reverse beautifully illustrates the renowned Bluenose schooner from Nova Scotia, a racing legend and a provincial symbol. This depiction is surrounded by the face value, the year "1983", and a letter "H", all beneath the overarching "CANADA". Year 1983 only has 168 000 pieces minted.
